The table below lists features of the DslrStar Controller and included software.
Interfacing to a digital single-lens-reflex camera mounted to a telescope, the DslrStar controller allows long exposure sequences - either by computer control or stand-alone - and stores exposure information (time, temperature and type) in its non-volatile memory.

The DslrStar is housed a rugged metal case.  It includes AC power transformer, USB cable, and software CD.  Optional automotive jack, precision temperature sensor, camera bulb cables or Euro-plug or interchangeable transformers are available.  See DslrStar Interface , DslrStar Screen Shots 1 & 2 , and Ordering Information for details.

The DslrStar Controller and its software is designed to simplify the use of DSLR cameras for astro-photography - by aiding the acquisition of astronomical photographs and associated image reduction frames.  The features of DslrStar bring many of the benefits of CCD cameras - costing many times more - to the users of DSLR cameras.

DslrStar gives you the flexibility to work in a standalone mode without the use of a computer, or to have the enhanced capabilities - such as focus assist - with remote comptuer control of your DSLR camera.  It gives you the ability to automatically take dark exposures to match the exact temperature of your original images - all on a cloudy night while you sleep.

With compatible software, the controller can be used to send autoguiding signals to your telescope.
